Spectrum Display Reverts to Zero-MHz After Clicking 'Enable spectrum Display'

Post by NI5F » Sat Apr 03, 2021 12:56 pm

When performing initial setup these steps are performed in this order:
-Click 'Start processing'
-Set 'Center frequency' to 603.25 MHz
-Set 'Sampling frequency' to 2.56
-Click 'Uniform Gain'
-Set RX1 Gain (dB)' to 16.6 (which properly sets RX2 - RX4 to 16.6)
-Click 'Set'
-Observed that Channels 1 through 4 show spectrum centered on 600-MHz

Now the problem:
-Click 'Enable spectrum display'
Channels 1 through 4 revert to being centered on 0-MHz and don't show my +30dBm signal at 603.25 MHz.
That tells me the receivers are no longer on 603.25 MHz, or were not properly moved to 603.25 MHz after pressing the 'Set' button.
I have replaced the USB cable from the Raspberry Pi 4 to the Kerberos box twice.
So, is there something wrong with the Kerberos or Pi, or perhaps three poor USB cables?

Bill,
It will always be centered on 0 Hz since it's a relative frequency.
