I've only seen one failed ADS-B unit in the last 500 orders so far so it seems a bit unlikely for 2/3 to fail.

What exactly is not working? No signal, no light? Can you confirm if the light turns on (remove one screw to look inside). Is your antenna ESD protected if it's outside?

And just to confirm, you are using this LNA at 1090 MHz? (We had a few people who were confused and didn't understand that the ADS-B LNA was for ADS-B 1090 MHz only)

If you think those two are really faulty please email us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to arrange a replacement.

I too recently purchase a RTL-SDR Blog ADS-B LNA. I'm using RaspberryPi with FligthRadar24 software and RTL-SDR V3 dongle.

Before connecting the LNA I was getting reasonable performance from my set-up.

After connecting the LNA my hits went basically down to zero.

I understand I need to activate the bias tee, which I seem to be having trouble, but I was wondering if the bias tee is not on should I still be getting some hits or is it normal that there will be nothing at all until bias tee is on?

I recommend to buy a LNA form here: http://stores.ebay.com/gpiolabs/
The are perfect and can powered via USB Cable.

I got an Pi and the crap make A LOT OF NOISE in comparison to my Pc.

You definitely need the bias tee to get anything. If the LNA is unpowered, it will simply block signals.
