Beginner-Want to listen air traffic

Since you are from Europe we dont have no "NOAH weather channel".
The only option is if you life near an Airport the Broadcast the local Information.

Please note I guess in Greece its illegal to receive anything beside of FM Radio, Amateur Radio and PMR446.
The Airband is only if you have an Certificate. The same for Ship Band.

I mean for the Airband. With your Radio Amateur one you can only Transmitt on Radio Amateur stuff.
You need one for Air and Shipp to listen (in a Gray area).

You are correct, but I have seen many live streams of Airbands on the internet...

There are no legal one from Europe (UK except).

Prices for store antennas start from 100euros and up. If I build one is it going to be better and/or cheaper?
