Sounds like you have a reverse-polarity SMA (RP-SMA) adapter. RP-SMA is commonly used for WiFi, among other things.ejones wrote:ok i found one problem my SMA adapter is missing the gold pin inside.

i found a broadband amplifier kit with 20dB maximum gain.
i figured out it is vary difficult to get rid of ''ghost" images before i go any further on sdr# is correct IQ enabled by default.
also the amp is the Ramsey AA7C kit that works with just a single 9 volt battery i have the wire come in the window and
with adapters it is sharing one connector with my other receiver what i have noticed a 80 increase in sound quality and the old radio is getting everything on this part of the northern hemisphere.
