One would think it would be relatively easy to use this thing for what it was intended for. Surely it must just be me, because i cannot find anything.
Anyhow could someone provide some guidance on some free software that will enable this thing to receive digital tv. Or must one spend dollars to enable this unprecedented feature?
Any info would be great thanks.

You can download the official manufacturer RTL2832U drivers here http://bit.ly/1igDacW. You'll need to uninstall the SDR drivers first before installing these though as you can only have one driver installed at a time. Then i'd suggest using free software like ProgDVB to receive TV.
