I have an August International Tv USB Stick
The documentation states DVB-T2, DVB-Y & DVB-C for the onboard chip Silicon Labs Si2168 40
It also has a 214820 which supports TV bandwidth 1.7, 5, 6, 7 & 8 Mhz frequencies
The USB driver is a CY7C68013A
Is there any way I could use this USB stick as an SDR receiver ?
I have ordered a RTL2832U based USB stick - should be about 4 weeks from china via another SDR board
I have had this August stick working under windows for TV - although my reception is poor where we live and we use satellite for all of our normal TV
Any help, suggestions gratefully received , I'd love to be able to use this stick for radio, I'm 18km from the coast and we have a small airfield nearby too
I have years of experience in networking hardware and network design, played with CB radio in the 1980's but this is my first entry into SDR
thanks
Robin

No, unfortunately only sticks with the RTL2832U chips in them can be used for SDR.
