Hookup to TV antenna?

Post by Scott440 » Sat Jan 13, 2018 3:37 am

Ok, maybe a dumb question..... but I have a large rotational fringe UHf/VHF combo HDTV antenna mounted on my roof. Picks up ton of stations about 50 miles from Cleveland. Can this be hooked up to it for more range?...... or am I dreaming and should I just be happy to use the supplied antenna?

I would also have to run a cable about 40 feet to computer to hook up.

That should work well for VHF/UHF, definitely work trying.

It will work well for the TV frequencies, and maybe decently for other out of band frequencies in the direction it's pointing. Might be worth a try if you have rotation capabilities.
