Strange, might be Windows not properly letting go of the dongle when you click on stop.

Does the same problem occur in any other software? E.g. you could try HDSDR or SDR-Console V3.

SDR#, on both the win7 and win10 machines I use, crash almost constantly when hitting the stop-button after prolonged use.

It seems to happen more often when it has been running for a longer while (After several hours of play, a crash on stop is almost guaranteed)

I can't find the root-cause of it (At least I haven't detected any pattern to it yet), but maybe you're seeing some of the same misbehavior.

This is with both a zadiq-run SDR, and with their own AirspyR2.
So I'm guessing it is related to how the SDR# is programmed.
It also happens even if no plugins are installed (Using a clean install from their website)

Mostly I use control-alt-delete and task-manager to force-exit SDR#. After that I can re-start it and it will usually start up correctly again.

I'm using the 32bit version. I haven't tried using the 64bit version to see if that one behaves the same way (Because some 3rd party plugins are only available for the 32bit version)

SDR# also seems to get slow after a few hours of use. Maybe unrelated, but to me it does seem like the software has some issues that pile up when it's been running for some hours.

Update : Same thing for me, i'm on windows 7 and using the 32 bits version.

With both of us having the same problem, I'd say it's a good bet the problem is with SDR# and not with something in our setups that we can easily correct.

I tried yesterday SDR# on windows 10, everything seems much more fluent, for example the middle mouse wheel will immediately react when the cursor is on the left panel or right panel, this doesn't work on my windows 7 (here, the middle mouse doesn't really know on which part of the interface the cursor is on)

I had not noticed that before, but I get the same behavior; no mouse-scroll of left-panel on win7, only on win10.
