RPI3 as audio server

Post by QRM » Tue Sep 11, 2018 5:58 pm

Hi,

I want to use an RPI3 with RTL-SDR Stick as an audio server to monitor just one frequency.
On the Client side I just want to open a Browser window and listen to the stream.
Remote control, etc. is not wanted!
If possible the stream should work for more than 1 connection.

Has any body an idea for this?
Every hint is welcome!

Cheers!

Thanks,
but not what I would preffer. a VLC audio Stream (multi stream) would be nicer and fit my needs.

Hello,

You can try with icecast, ezstream and lame (or sox)
