looking for an IQ file viewer or editor

Post by Jekko » Tue Nov 06, 2018 12:07 pm

Hi,

I find convenient using SDR Console or sdrsharp to record the 2.4mhz baseband of RTLSDR V3 for let's say one hour, then open the recording and tune in the frequencies where there is activity.

But in this way i need to play the entire iq chain of files (i can skip 5secs by 5 secs but nothing more).

It would be perfect if could exist a program that shows me the entire iq waterfall of the chain of files. Something like when i open a wav file with a wav editor. In this way i could detect the areas of activity without playing the entire file.

Do you know if exist a software to do such things?
Thank you very much

PS: Sdrsharp has the fileplayer plugin that show the waterfall, but unfortunately it can play only one iq file and it is not able to chain long recordings splitted in more files.

Hmm sorry AFAIK the only thing close to what you want is the SDR# plugin. HDSDR has a decent file replayer too now however, might be worth checking out.
