Discuss commercial and home made antennas.

Hi all, Hopefully Rtlsdr wont mind me posting here with an antenna i'm selling on Tindie. In mitigation I have tried hard to provide really good documentation on how it was designed and the decisions that went into it. Hopefully readers will find this educational. The antenna was simulated using open source software(OpenEMS) which I encourage people to try out.
The antenna was designed specifically to support SDR users who want to be able to receive a really wide variety of signals with a single 'jack-of-all-trades' antenna. The large antenna covers 300MHz+ and also works pretty well for fm broadcast bands(more by accident than design if i'm honest). It has circular polarisation so will receive both horizontal and vertical polarised signals without needing to worry. It also has suction mounts so you can easily mount it to a window(ideal if you are not able to put up an external antenna).
