SDR#-x86 Dos Not Install on Windows10

Post by mark3575 » Sat Jan 12, 2019 9:07 pm

Following the Quick Start Guide, I have downloaded the sdrsharp-x86.zip file, I unzipped it, Then I ran "install-rtlsdr.bat" but it appears SDR#-x86 does not install on my Windows10 pc because there is no SDR# folder created. I turned off my anti-virus s/w and tried again, but no luck.

What do I do now??

Any advice is appreciated.

Hmm I don't understand what you mean when you say that no SDR# folder is created? Once you unzip the files, the folder that those files are in is the SDR# folder.

Install-rtlsdr.bat, simply downloads zadig and the rtlsdr.dll driver which can't be packaged with the software for software licencing reasons. After you ran it are those files inside the SDR# folder?

I thought running the bat file would install a SDR# folder on my c: drive and would install all the programs. Thank you for the clarification.
