Post by ProntoSDR » Fri Mar 22, 2019 7:05 am

Hello all,

after much work I don´t get success with installing / running an ACARS-Mulitchannel Decoder from github (Thiery Leconte).
Anybody there who can help e step by step???? Many thanks in advance!!!

I´m using:
#PC Acer-Notebook
#Linux Ubuntu 18.04
#SDR Dongle Terratec Cinergy T Stick, works well with rtl_433, gqrx and other applications

Cheers

What sort of problems did you have?

You can also try using Acarsdeco2, which is a bit more popular http://xdeco.org/?page_id=30

Hello an thanks for the reply´s!

I´ve got a solution now and it´s running well! But... another problem, similar:

I´m trying to run python heatmap.py on my system, to make out of a csv-file a grapic (png); With rtl_power I have made a csv-file concerning the radio traffic on amateurradio band (144 MHZ - 146 MHZ). After starting python heatmap.py 2M-Band.csv I get the error msg: "heatmap.py not found"!?!?! Who can help me? Tanks a lot in advance!!!

Cheers

Norbert
