Im looking for options for an SDR based Transceivers for HF. It seems like there is a shortage of options. Hopefully the RTL community can help me compile a list and perhaps give me some feedback as to how well they work at HF? Are there other radios that can be modified to work well at HF?
So far I have...
HackRF
LimeSDR USB
Fairwaves XTRX
Ettus with LFRX and LFTX daughter boards.
List of HF SDR Transceivers

Also:
LimeSDR Mini
Raspberry Pi with an RTL-SDR (direct-sampling or with an upconverter) plus a narrow-band HF filter such as the TAPR 20M TX shield for use with PiTX.

Re: List of HF SDR Transceivers
The ones you've listed are mostly for 'experimentation'. There are a whole heap of amateur radio SDR transceivers.
e.g.
Softrock
Elad FDM-DUO
FlexRadio

Re: List of HF SDR Transceivers
It was an experimentation radio I was looking for. Something that works with GNU radio and has a bit more dynamic range than the HackRF for instance.

Re: List of HF SDR Transceivers
Try looking into the Hermes and openHPSDR projects.
I believe that there is a GNURadio interface module for those too.

Thanks for the info on that. I will definately look into openHPSDR and its derivatives.
