command line sequence for enabling noise source etc.

Post by oe6rke » Sun Apr 14, 2019 7:14 pm

Hi all,

to gain back more cpu power i use virtualhere to talk to the kerberossdr attached to an rpi3 and a virtual ubunto Desktop equiped with enough power.
Connection and data flow is working fine, but i noticed that atleast the noise source is somehow managed out of the python Framework. to make the stuff working remote on the rpi (where the kerberossdr is) i look for the on/on command sequence. i guess this the same also for sample sync or calibrate iq (which shall act directly to the board).
If someone dug already that Deep i'm happy to receive hints where to look for,

cool piece of gear :), br Robert

I'm not sure exactly what it is you're doing, but at the moment if you're wanting to do coherent stuff you're going to need to be able to run the GUI.

If you just want to enable the bias tee, you can use the command line software rtl_biast for the V3, explained here www.rtl-sdr.com/V3.

thanks for the hint. I guess i will dig in the Code to find the relevant steps. my aim is to Control the Kerberos remote without running the app (in an Network usb Forward Scenario).
will post the Code if successful,

br Robert
