Hello,
Would really like to monitor acars.
It was suggested that you folks recommend Acarsdeco2 to use.
Fine, I downloaded it, and I think it installed correctly.
But when I run what I think is the .exe, what happens is a black screen, and
lots of text scrolling down.
So, my basic question is, please:, how do I actually run the program ?
And how to pick the RTL Dongle as the default radio, etc. ?
If I can do this, will probably have other questions, but not sure how to even
get what I presume are graphic screens to show and run. Running W10.
Is there anything else that I need to download to actually run it ?
Thanks for any help, really appreciate it. Will blame it on old age now.
BTW: think wacars would be any easier for me ? Why ?
Bob

Have you been through our ACARS guide at https://www.rtl-sdr.com/rtl-sdr-radio-s ... ith-acars/ ?
You shouldn't run the .exe directly, you need to run the .bat file. First open it with Notepad and edit the --freq-correction and --gain flags to more optimals ones for your particular setup. (see the guide)
Once you run the bat file you can then open the web interface at http://127.0.0.1:8080, and see the ACARS messages streaming in.
