LNA

Would there be any value of running LNAs on each antenna for DF'ing?

My experience with Doppler Systems(waiting on my KerberosSDR), with to much amplification there would be increased multi-path. Of course all of this depends on distance and power of Signal you are trying to DF. Very weak signal could use amplification, but as you get closer to the source it would help if amplification were dropped.... or better -- even adding attenuation!

You need to be careful of any phase corruption the LNA introduces. Unless the frequency is high UHF or L-band, I see no value to even trying an LNA as it's probably just going to make things worse since we don't need long cable runs.
