I am new to rtl-sdr and the first thing I did was to select Direct Sampling Q branch to look in HF.
Could no find much until by luck I found a signal I could identify in 27.339631 MHz It was an AM commercial transmission I know transmits in 1.460 MHz
Does anyone have an idea on what I could look for to correct this frequency shift? I have gone thru the Quick Start, V3 setup and will soon start with the Hobbyits Guide to RTL-SDR so probably I will find the answer someday, but a little help is appreciated. For now I setup SDR# according to quick start (Shift is not enabled).
Seems to work fine with Quadruple Sampling for VHF.
Need help installing or figuring out something about your SDR? Ask here.

With direct sampling you'll see images mirrored around the center 14.4 MHz. You'll need filtering for the band of interest to make the most out of direct sampling mode, but for many signals it will be fine without filtering.
