Automatic notch-filter for SDR# ?

Post by JEL » Wed Feb 19, 2020 11:04 pm

SDRconsoleV3 has a function called notch-filter, which, when activated, automatically removes the humming from spikes in the bandwidth you're listening to.

It's very useful, in my opinion, since it has the effect of nulling out the buzzing these spikes can create and convert the sound into a more 'clean' noise.

I found a manual notch-filter for SDR# (Mentioned by rtl-sdr.com actually :) ) but that is useful for removing a single or a couple of big spikes, but not for automatic 'notch-cleanup'.

Is there any plugins for SDR# that can mimic the notch-filter function found in SDRconsoleV3?

I am currently using Spectrum-Lab on the side, which also has an automatic notch-cleanup function (It's automatically switched on when you choose the VLF mode in speclab) which is quite effective on speech.

But if a plugin exists for SDR# that would be a nice addition.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am looking for a plugin that integrates directly with SDR# though (Since it has other functions I use a lot)
