New SDR# Plugin: PAL / SECAM TV
The SDR# plugins programmer over at rtl-sdr.ru has recently released a new plugin which allows the decoding of PAL / SECAM TV images from within SDR# (note link in Russian, use Google translate or see the download link at the bottom of the page). The author also writes that if you are using a newer software defined radio like an Airspy, you can also receive the audio channel using the SDR# multiple VFO plugin.
We note that there is also the TVSharp software by the same author which is a standalone program that can decode PAL and NTSC.

I was hoping this program would be available for linux, also for the obsolete UK 405 line standard as there will be a heritage transmitter starting in London later this year or next year.
I have an RTL SDR and also an SdrPlay RSP1A.
Any help on the above would be great and very much appreciated.
The vertical sync is not ok. The picture is on a 45 degrees angle, even when I’m using the test set. What I do wrong?
I’m surprised this only works with PAL/SECAM and not NTSC. They’re very similar except for the color encoding.
The author states a special version of the rtl-sdr.dll is needed but does not offer the file or state where the file may be had. “For rtl-sdr receiver needs rtl-sdr.dll modified file.”
Is not recognized by the current (Aug 20 2017) SDR# software.
I USE TVSHARP TO DECODE NSTC FOR4 HAM TV.
I WOULD LIKE TO USE JUST ONE PROGRAM FOR ALL OF MY SDR NEEDS.
CAN YOU CODE THE TV PLUGIN FOR THE SDR TO RECEIVE NSTC?

Does this work with NTSC? I know there is a seperate program for that, but it begs the question, because NTSC is really pretty much the same as PAL, once you remove the color information. The frame rate is different, but some B&W TV’s can be made to tune in either one, with a little tinkering.
