ARPS.Chat – Send and Receive APRS Messages Globally
Thank you to Sarah Rose Giddings (aka Signals Everywhere) for submitting to us her latest project called aprs.chat. This is a web service that allows ham radio operators to have all of their incoming APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) messages (regardless of SSID) saved in history on the web platform. This will enable operators to never miss a message, even when their radios are turned off. The service works over the APRS-IS (APRS Internet Service) network, which bidirectionally connects APRS radios to the internet.
Sarah notes that the service currently works through the website, but an Android app is planned for release in the near future. Patreons of Sarah/Signals Everywhere can get early access to the Android app on request.
More information about the service can be found on this post on the Signals Everywhere blog.

Bit pointless tbh. Superceeded by winlink/Varac.
If signalseverywhere wants to make a bang, make a meshtastic with encryption that works on 12.5 and 25khz bandwidth and a soundcard to use on any license free radio. Its needed in the west right now.
You can use APRS on an HT. Can you do VARac on an HT?
A bit pointless to suggest that, because if you weren’t berating members of the community, you’d probably be told that LoRa, the underlying protocol of Meshtastic, CAN’T go lower than 125 kHz, as it’s literally not in the spec.
So please, educate yourself.
LoRa transceivers can work with a bandwidth less than 125 kHz. This is literally written in the specification, for example on SX1262. Even 7.8 kHz https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/761/DS_SX1261-2_V1.1-1307803.pdf
If you need to work with any radio station via audio channel, then look at Rattelegram. LoRa transceivers are radio stations in themselves and the advantage of LFM modulation is that it allows signal accumulation, literally allowing operation at long ranges (tens of thousands of kilometers with direct visibility) with low power at negative SNR. Those conventional radio stations, analog or digital, do not have such advantages.
